With the guidance of our dedicated volunteers, Trainees build confidence and expertise in a variety of retail tasks.
The Hamlet also has 2 retail vocations on site: The Woodlands and The Hut. The stock in these shops is kindly donated to us by Poundland and has provided the Trainees with an amazing opportunity to develop new skills. With the support of our fantastic team of volunteers, Trainees who work in the retail vocations practice the skills of stacking the shelves, checking dates, using the till, serving customers and many more.
With very competitive prices the Woodlands and the Hut are a favourite of both Trainees and customers.
The Hamlet Wigan CIC empowers adults with additional needs through bespoke pathways, fostering independence, skills and lifelong friendships.
